In a recent blog post, I promised myself that 2015 would be the year I read more books than ever before. Considering I have a never-ending list of novels, a wealth of apps/devices to read them on, and a beach vacation to look forward to, I think I can easily reach my goal of 50 books this year. So far, I have completed two: Where She Went by Gayle Forman (the follow-up to If I Stay) and Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell (one of my new favorite authors). I am currently in the midst of Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng and I have a good, good feeling about this one.

One of the many reasons I want to move out the shoebox I currently reside in is because I’d love to have a room that looks like this:
Naturally it will have a ladder and I will need to bring my umbrella.
While I’d still like to read through some of last year’s top sellers, there are a ton of books neatly categorized that I’m drawn to in Kobo’s book store (particularly those in the New York Times Non-Fiction Best Sellers List), like Yes Please by Amy Poehler and the Humans of New York collection of photographs.
What makes Kobo so unique, you ask? Well, for starters you can purchase a book through Kobo’s book store and then download the Kobo app to read it on your phone, tablet, or laptop. The app will help you keep your place so you don’t have to worry about losing your spot when switching from one device to another.

I mean, you know I love anything having to do with books!
I have my kindle which helps the problem is I’m not good with consistency. No app will help with that. Lol. I’m trying to stabilize my routine but baby steps. I try to read but I have bursts where I do just not for very long. I look at the computer all day and work a lot of my blog – by the time I get home I want no part in thinking lol. 🙂 Good luck reading more Charlotte! Happy Hump Day -Iva
I have Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng right now! I got it for Christmas and I’m saving it for our flight to Florida. As if I’ll be able to read with two kids around. Ha!
And I have Attachments by Rainbow Rowell too.
I loved Fangirl, and now I need to read Attachments 🙂
