Happiness Boutique review (and discount for readers!)

I was sitting in a coffee shop on a Friday night in my early 20s when a psychic approached me and asked if I’d like a reading. “SURE!” I responded. “I have absolutely no concept of money,” (don’t worry—I left that last part out). As she took a seat across the table from me, I watched my then boyfriend roll his eyes.

So there we were, this psychic and I, and she took my hands in hers and stared deeply into my eyes.

“You wear rings on your thumbs. You like attention. That’ll be $20.”

Okay so maybe that’s not entirely what went down but she did tell me the bit about the rings on my thumbs and that’s what’s stuck all these years later. At the time I suppose I did like the attention in a way that makes me cringe now.

Anyway, the point of this convoluted tale is that I’ve always had a deep appreciation for jewelry, especially rings. On days when I don’t feel like getting dressed up, a few silver pieces makes it look like I put in a solid effort. Sometimes minimal work can yield positive results, and I typically receive at least a compliment a week on my jewelry styling (it’s a thing!).

I received an email recently to review a few pieces from the Happiness Boutique—a Berlin-based online shop that believes in spreading happiness, and I absolutely adore their mission. They want their customers to not only look good, but to feel good, too. Their belief that happiness is contagious is one I believe in myself, so this partnership was a natural collaboration.

The Angelic Feather Crystal Ear Crawlers are really fun to wear and surprisingly simple to put on. You simply poke the stud through your ear as you would a normal earring and then clasp to the upper part of your earlobe (not at all painful, I promise!).

The other piece I was sent is a Metallic Chunky Ring. I LOVE THIS PIECE. One quick word of warning, however: I’m not sure if Germans have significantly smaller fingers than I do, but if you want the ring opened a bit, it’ll take a bit of muscle. This is constructed of high-quality titanium and it looks like an expensive piece of jewelry.
