I haven’t shared a goals post since February. Not sure what happened there but let’s pretend it’s business as usual because clearly I checked out of the building for a bit and have zero idea how we got here lol.
- Make a mammogram appointment. I’m proud of myself; in the past few weeks I’ve gone to the dentist and eye doctor (have another dentist appointment today actually). I returned to therapy, and even got my hair cut over the weekend. It’s part of a self-care circuit I desperately needed in my life again. Pandemic and baby were legitimate excuses but laziness factored in there, too. Self-care and routine checkups are so dang important. As my friend said recently “you need a tuneup when you get to be this age.” Touché
- Figure out what to do with Mila; I really would like for us to schedule a tour of a local daycare center and figure out something that gets her the socialization she needs at this stage and the break that momma also needs at this point 🙂
- Book a trip to Sesame Place or schedule our next zoo visit. We just got season passes so I’m excited to make this a regular thing we look forward to doing together as a family. But holy hell–is it pricey to stay overnight at one of these kiddie places, or what?
Short and sweet, that’s all we got. Did you make goals this month? Let me know in the comments so I can follow along 🙂
Good luck on all the goals. And yay for self-care! I need to make a massage appointment; I should really do that today! It’s long overdue.

That all sounds reasonable and well deserved!
I need to make my mammogram appointment for next month.
