I was not compensated for this review. I received a box from Globe In; all opinions are entirely my own.
Have you ever experienced true buyer’s remorse? That immediate and familiar thrill of sliding a credit card to purchase a new sweater, handbag, or pair of sunglasses is often replaced by an overwhelming feeling of “I shouldn’t have” (in my case, anyway).
Buyer’s remorse is a common sensation for those of us who try our hardest to save pennies for rainy day funds and down payments on a house.
But you know what I’ve never experienced?
I’ve never once regretted an adventure. Vacations have always been my saving grace and something I look forward to each year. Though I’ve certainly made some questionable choices in life (especially where dating, jobs, and friends are concerned), there’s never been a vacation that I wish I hadn’t taken.

I recently heard from a subscription box company that I feel is THE PERFECT GIFT for any traveler in your life. Globe In features handcrafted products from all over the world, made by local artisans and curated around a monthly theme (like “Pamper Box,” “World Kitchen,” “The Memory Box,” etc). But what I love most about Globe In is their mission and how they are participating in the subscription box model just a little bit differently. Each beautifully curated box tells the story of the artists while also giving back to the communities they serve. So now you can really feel good about the purchases you make and know that your money is going to a great cause.

If you click on the boxes on their website, for instance, you can see what is included in each package, but also what your contribution is doing to help local artists and communities—including employing handicapped artisans in Cambodia and helping to pay for an artist’s cancer treatments.

My Globe In box included beautiful gifts from around the world—including two hand-painted pyramid candles, a signature handwoven basket (from the Mixteca region of Mexico), Rooibus tea from South Africa, a woven cotton throw from India, and a ceramic cup and saucer from India. You can either choose to make a one-time purchase or subscribe to receive a different box each month (as low as $35/month).

Order now and get 25% off your first Globe In box with code ARTISAN25!
Do you have a favorite subscription box / club you belong to? Let me know in the comments!
This might the best subscription box I’ve seen!
And I’m with you – I’ve never regretted a vacation.. or a piece of camera equipment.. or anything for my kids.
Yes! I’ve never regretted a vacation… although I have made purchases I have regretted before. This looks like a great subscription box! Thanks for sharing!
I love the pyramid candles they look so pretty. And everything else too. 🙂

I do love a good adventure. Have you ever seen that commercial (I forget what it’s for) but it talks about the “haves” and the “have dones.” The “haves” are about buying things to keep and the “have dones” spend money on experiences. I always think of myself as the “have dones.” I love the sound of this box and that it gives back! Thanks for sharing.
