The process of changing my last name always seemed daunting (which explains why I’ve held onto my maiden name for so long) but I recently started the journey to take on Bryan’s last name, and it was actually a piece of cake thanks to @easynamechange. You’ll first need to recover some important paperwork (like your SS card and marriage certificate) but they mail all the papers you need to sign and send back to legally change your name on any form you need. You simply indicate the banking institutions, financial services, and companies that need to be updated and Easy Name Change will send you a handy checklist of things you’ll need and forms to fill in to move the process along. #ad

April you were a good, good month to us. My cousin

April you were a good, good month to us. My cousin’s wedding, a cluster of birthdays, a trip from my brother, lunch with my SIL, bike rides, outside blowing bubble days, so many trips to the library, clean bills of health, spring festivals, Mila’s first concert (Old Crow Medicine Show!) and time spent with animals, family, and friends.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be unplugging the rest of this month 😉

No matter how many times I edit this video it never seems to capture enough and I think the reason has little to do with what’s seen here and more to do with the fact that all these moments happened in a blink. I can’t believe it’s already your third birthday, my sweet baby girl ❤️ so many happy memories tucked into your monumental years on earth. Your poppa and I love you more than we could ever fully express. Thank you for being a bright light in our lives — and that includes Milo who is ever grateful you are always concerned about his well-being and that you make sure he has enough treats 🎂

Momma and poppa had a much needed date night and welcomed a new member to the family. Also caught up with family I haven’t seen since before Mila was born AND got to briefly see my dear friend Emily and her family. It was just a really great night. Also remind me never to wear a corset under a dress. Pretty sure I cracked a rib 😂

Am I the only one who looks forward to shopping trips? I love to meal plan for the week each Sunday and get ahead of some easy recipes I can keep on hand for Mila (and of course it’s nice to have leftovers for lunch).

I love our @traderjoes and always find new items to throw in the cart (and this week we really had a lot in there—$260+ worth but it should def last for at least the next two weeks). I made sure to stock up on extra veggies and am going to cook based on what will go bad first—in an ongoing effort to reduce food waste in this home. We just can’t afford to not be smarter about our food choices.

Please let me know any easy veggie recipes you’ve made recently—bonus points if it keeps well for leftovers. And what are some of your Trader Joe’s must-buys? Totally splurged on those breadsticks but they were delicious 😋 hit me up if you need any recipes, found some toddler friendly foods that Mila has been snacking on lately!

When I moved to this neck of the woods a few years ago I was worried there wouldn’t be much diversity with our takeout options and while I will say this is the land of diners and Italian food (no shade to either), I get SO pumped when I find a veggie/ vegan restaurant in my backyard. @plantedeatsmontville offers a wide assortment of baked goods, sammiches, bowls and salads, coffees, smoothies and other delicious, healthy fare. Mila is partial to their chips (which come with their sandwiches) and energy balls. Today I tried their green goddess bowl — there were no leftovers 😋
