ICYMI, don’t forget to check out my recent Baby On Board BabbleBoxx review, featuring all kinds of adorable, safe, and baby registry favorites for new and seasoned mommas!
Happy hump day, everyone! Back at it again and what a week it’s been. First things first, thanks so much for reaching out to ask about my poppa—he’s doing much better, thankfully. He’s currently on blood thinners, so will have to wait to schedule surgery, but looks like a bypass is in his future (about a month before my due date so I’m trying not to freak out). He’s a very, very lucky man, and I’m confident that he’ll find an incredible surgeon who can fix his ticker (and hopefully convince him that “healthy lifestyle” isn’t just a hip key phrase).
Today I’m excited to share some really neat products from BabbleBoxx for the mommas to be—which is actually really nice, because it’s easy to get lost in baby mode and forget that we need some lovin’ too 🙂 Let’s start the unveiling, shall we?
Mustela Nursing Comfort Balm
Nipple cream. WHO KNEW this would be such a hot button issue in the mommy community and also a necessary commodity (this noob mom is sheepishly raising her hand)? I would like to breast feed when little is here and, like most of the world, would prefer not to have uncomfortable, dry, and sore boobies if at all possible. Enter Mustela and their lanolin-free moisturizing balm that helps to restore skin before and after breast feeding. It’s completely vegan, promises to never stain your clothing, and free of dyes and fragrance. Count me in! My Pixie Blog readers can now receive 20% off by using code CHARLOTTE20 at checkout. You’re welcome!
Playtex Nursing Bras
I was very excited to receive not just one but THREE Playtex nursing/maternity bras in my BabbleBoxx. Known for their superior fit, these bras are designed for comfort and support—two things I know I’ll need following a c-section and breast feeding. The Cross Over Sleep Bra helps to keep you cool, has a criss-cross opening to help facilitate breast feeding, and even flexes to fit as your size changes. Score! The Shaping Foam Underwire bra (pictured in lavender) features QuickStrap® clips designed to make nursing easy—anytime, anywhere. It also has a 4-way support system with comfy straps, deeper cups, higher sides, and a wider back. Milkflow Lactation Coffee Pods from UpSpring
This is something new (to me!) that I just heard about from following one of my favorite influencers (Rachel Mansfield) on the ‘gram. This lactation coffee from UpSpring contains herbs like Fenugreek and Blessed Thistle to help naturally promote breast milk supply. The coffee pods have a smooth flavor and contain 55 mg of caffeine per serving; they are also non-GMO, gluten free, and lactation consultant recommended. I know many women who have been plagued by limited milk supply, so it’s so great that there is a product on the market (available in the baby aisle at Target btw!) that can help—and all you have to do is drink your coffee 🙂
LiftActiv Peptide-C Ampoule Serum by Vichy
A brand that likely needs no introduction (I mean, who here hasn’t heard of VICHY?!), their anti-aging ampoule serum is formulated with only 10 ingredients, including 10% Pure Vitamin C to brighten skin, Natural Origin Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate and plump the skin, and plant-based Phyto Peptides to fight signs of collagen loss. In layman’s terms, this serum is completely designed to keep your skin looking and feeling it’s finest and youngest. The team at Vichy even created a short, step-by-step video explaining how to use their product. For a limited time only, My Pixie Blog readers can receive 15% off by entering promo code VICHYBABBLE2020 at checkout!
Love Without Boundaries (LWB)
This incredible, top-rated international charity was created with a mission to provide healing, education, and refuge to vulnerable children. It’s hard to find fault with an organization committed to the belief that “Every Child Counts” and so I was especially happy to see their inclusion in my BabbleBoxx as well. Love Without Boundaries provides hope and healing through ongoing programs in Cambodia, India, Uganda, and more with special projects around the world. What did you think of my BabbleBoxx? Which item was your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
Umm.. these are amazing. See, this is why I need a third baby. Lactation coffee pods is why! And everything has just gotten so much better, it seems. I’m checking out the LiftActive ASAP! I need that!
Ooh lots of fun items. It’s definitely important to think about new moms, along with the baby. You’re going to be going through a lot – and then dealing with a lot! Self-care is important!!!
