Good morning, and happy Monday, sweet friends! How was the weekend, and what did you do? It was a pretty relaxing one here; no St. Patrick’s Day festivities but I did practice some yoga, read (which inspired me to clean), see some homes (more on that), meet up with coworkers, cook delicious meals (including a vegan goulash!), grocery shop, visit Bryan’s family, AND make a Target run. TARGET. I haven’t been there in ages. I was there on a mission, but of course that didn’t materialize so I ended up with a sticker book and other things I definitely didn’t need. Not sorry 🙂
Thinking—about the homes we saw over the weekend. Especially one that I’m kind of now obsessing over. Bryan was trying to talk me into it but he didn’t need to. I was just holding my cards close to the vest because I don’t ever want to get too excited…
Also! We went to another Open House for a sprawling ranch on one acre of land. It was on septic (we’re looking to move into a lake community, so that’s a common theme there). Bryan asked the listing agent how old the septic tank was, and she responded that it was from 1957.
I thought she was joking and nearly laughed out loud, but then I realized she was serious and we decided to make like a tree and leaf
Enjoying—the stillness of a quiet morning in the beginning of a new week
Wearing—Victoria’s Secret black leggings and my black-and-white striped Piko shirt (they are SO stinkin’ comfortable!)
Needing—another cup of warm coffee
Wanting—things to work out. Also to learn how to bullet journal
Listening—to commercials on Z100
Eating—not yet but thinking about my morning rice cake and almond butter
Drinking—coffee. I feel like this is a given and I probably shouldn’t even answer this one anymore, ha!
