I was not compensated for this review. I received a complimentary Piko shirt in exchange for this post; all opinions are entirely my own.
It’s been unbearably hot in the Garden State over the past few weeks. Like, I-can-feel-my-hair-growing humid. Due to the fact that I don’t have a car (though that will hopefully change soon!), I walk everywhere—in all kinds of weather.
The dashboard on Bryan’s Mazda displayed a three-digit temperature on Monday, as we drove back from Willie Nelson/Old Crow Medicine Show in Atlantic City. We decided to skip the overpriced meals at the Borgata (where we’d already lost enough money) and made a pit stop in Smithville, NJ, an adorable little fairy village with cute shops and a stuck-in-time breakfast shop called the Smithville Bakery (if you are in the area, do yourselves a favor and GO, my friends!).
Did I mention it was about a million degrees outside? Hopefully that explains the hair that has all but given up on top of my head.
That said, I want to talk about the world’s most comfortable t-shirt dress. Where most clothing items hang and hug and stick in this kind of weather, my Piko Shirt was flowy and comfortable and breathable. Also, it’s pretty stinking cute, right?
I have received many compliments since wearing this dress, but what I love the most is the fact that it’s forgiving in case you’ve stuffed yourself senseless (which I did in these photos). Their shirts are made of bamboo/spandex and are available in a variety of colors and styles, depending on whether you like short-/long-sleeved dresses or shirts. I had it rolled up in a ball in my bag over this weekend and I love that it doesn’t wrinkle–great clothing to travel with.
I’m going to be completely honest here and say that while I do receive a lot of items for product reviews, this is truly a product I will buy again and again. It’s just THAT comfortable.
I’m wearing this dress with a pair of flats because I needed something casual to walk around in, but you could dress it up nicely with sky-high pumps and big jewelry for a night out on the town.
I am really excited to announce that I am partnering with Piko Shirts today for a giveaway! One very lucky reader will receive a Piko Shirt of their choice—simply enter by using the Rafflecopter below and good luck!
