I don’t have goals to look back on for July but just as well. Now is as good a time as any to start with a clean slate. There are just mere weeks left of summer and it’s been a really good one so far, all things considered. We’ve taken Mila to the lake, gone on some play dates, visited family and friends, and even had a little getaway. Come September, we’ll pack the car and head to Mystic for a few days of ice cream and aquariums and pizza and boats. Doesn’t that sound magical?
Anyway, since I’ve been slacking in this department, I’ve created some goals I’d really like to accomplish in the 19 days remaining in the month. Let’s go!
- Enjoy what’s left of the summer–try out that gelato place in town I’ve annoyed Bryan about for months, hit up the lake for at least one more visit, more strolls, some s’mores, get togethers with friends (also. I am well aware that the Delta variant could completely destroy this list but I’m remaining hopeful because some days I feel like I’m hanging on the edge)
- Finish a book (dammit!)
- Get out more when weather allows and it’s not so friggin’ humid. DEAR GOD SOMEONE HELP MY HAIR. Every morning I have a zoom call with my coworkers and I feel as though it’s the evolution of a woman in need of working hair products
- Find time for meditation. I’ve really slacked on this one, and I want to pick it back up again. All it takes is five good minutes, right? <3
And there you have it. Did you make goals for the month? Let me know in the comments!
