Hey, you guys, and happy FRIDAY! Where did the time go? Whatever, I’m not complaining. Here we go–another Friday gratitude list. Let’s get started!
-
- Mila’s sweet face. She’s getting so, so big!
- Comfort food
- FaceTime with friends
- Dinner with Bryan’s family. I had reservations about going to his parent’s home but we just saw my parents the weekend before and I don’t know always what the right thing is
- This ornament from Bryan’s sister in Oklahoma
- Funny, heartwarming, loving text messages (I don’t know what I would do without my friends)
- Getting some Christmas gifts in the mail. Hoping to start wrapping this weekend—that always helps me get in the holiday spirit
- Good customer service—a sherpa I ordered got stuck to the adhesive on the packing box, which damaged the sleeve. The company sent a new one out right away
- This clip from SNL which is a heartwarming look at what a lot of people around the world are experiencing right now (thanks, Tamara, for sharing with me!)
- Mila’s sweet face. She’s getting so, so big!
- Seeing Buster’s face pop up in my memories ❤️ I miss him so much.
What about you? What are you grateful for?
I love that clip on SNL – so good! And oh my, that first photo of Mila is just adorable.
I get what you mean about not knowing what to do or what decision to make sometimes. This is a weird and new time for all of us – you just have to do what you can to stay safe without isolating yourself too much. I’m glad you’ve been able to see family though – that’s always nice.
LOVE that ornament for Mila. omg, so cute.

aww.. thanks for the shoutout!
And yes, it’s so confusing. I get your point about seeing Bryan’s parents because you saw yours. It’s so confusing. My parents are far away and my mom did get to meet the baby. Cassidy’s mom and her husband met him too and we had Thanksgiving with them.
That said, things feel so unsafe right now that it’s confusing to backtrack, after opening up our germ pod. And we will probably miss our usual Christmas and New Year’s celebrations.
We haven’t seen Cassidy’s dad and his wife in ages because they’re in Florida. Argh to it all.
Sounds like it was a good week! That ornament is so cute and funny 🙂
Mila is looking like such a big girl!! Holy cow man.
What a year it’s been… ugh. I’m hopeful that 2021 will be brighter. I really, really hope.
Love you momma xoxo
