Hello and welcome to this week’s What’s Up, Weekend, where I link up with some members of our Peaceful Posse Facebook group and we discuss happy moments from the week. Personally, I think it’s a beautiful exercise that teaches us to give thanks for the little things in life. In a year fraught with uncertainty, it’s nice to pause and reflect, don’t you think? Let’s dive in!
The community-wide garage sale we attended last weekend and my finds (my neighbor was selling the vintage luggage seen below for $60 but gave it to me for $20!). I also picked up a “Coach” wallet for $5, baskets for $1 (I’m reorganizing my pantry and they will come in handy), and a shirt for Milo for $1
(side bar: is anyone interested in pantry before/afters? I might share one)
Mila’s little black dress
A visit to see my family. Mila fell asleep in my mom’s arms and my mom was over the moon about it <3
Mila mostly enjoying sweet potatoes (her first introduction to solids!). Next up: bananas
Catching Stassi Schroeder on Tamron Hall (not sure it helped her much but it was interesting to see nonetheless)
Aldi finds like spaetzle
Murder mysteries on nights when I can read more than five pages without falling asleep
This face 🙂
And there you have some of my happy from the week. What’s on your list? Let me know in the comments!
