I can’t believe we’re four days into the month of September and somehow it’s now mostly over; I say mostly because Covid makes seasons bleed, one into the other, and summer appears to still be in full swing ‘round here (hope you sing that in an Adam Duritz voice).
Anyway, how are YOU? Me? I’m very much looking forward to a long weekend. Plans are still up in the air but I will not be working and for that I am very grateful. Also I’m really excited to spend more time with Mila—it might sound silly because yea, obviously I see her throughout the day… but it’s impossible to spend quality time with her when I’m working.
Here are some things I’m very grateful for now that the week is almost finished.
Mexican takeout for dinner when I don’t have the energy to cook
This little face
The outtakes from Mila’s 5-month photoshoot
Nice feedback from a client (I’m helping her with her IG strategy and she’s happy with the number and quality of new followers)
Homemade peanut noodle bowls with fresh veggies (made with cucumbers and radishes and whatever else I have on hand!)
Feeling accomplished, more often than not
Zoom hangout with my coworkers
Mild weather and walks with Milo
Visit from Bryan’s cousin and family <3
Our new nursery lamp from Amazon–not to sound like everyone on HGTV, but I really do feel like it ties the whole room together (click Amazon image below for details; this is an affiliate link)
And that’s about it! Short + sweet. Wishing you guys a very very happy Labor Day and look forward to catching up with you all on the flipside. XOXO
