You may have missed a goals post for April here and there’s good reason for that—I ended up giving birth a bit earlier than expected and, to be honest, my main concern last month was navigating life with a newborn as best I could. Mila is a really wonderful little baby but some days are challenging, which I know is completely normal (living through a pandemic tends to complicate things, too). But I digress. She’s eating well and growing steadily and I have to remind myself that some days that is what’s most important.
Since I missed doing one of these last month, I’m excited to start the month of May strong (even if we are already seven days in). Let’s kick things off, and don’t forget to link up with us below!
Use my planner more–I want to structure my days again so they feel less like one more Groundhog Day 🙂
Get creative with workouts. Yes, I have some extra baby weight I’d like to shed but more importantly, I’d like to feel healthier. There’s a lot of sitting around and feeding lately and I’d like to move around more during the day
Teach my parents how to FaceTime/zoom/Skype/whatever. This has all been very hard on them and I think video chats with Mila would be a big mood booster for them
Navigate baby wearing with dog walking. When Bryan goes back to work I’d like to figured out how best to walk with both Milo and Mila. The stroller makes me a bit nervous but I think I can manage if I have her strapped to my chest. I’ll keep you posted on how that goes!
And there you have it. I’m keeping it short and sweet this month (just how I like it). I’m tempted to add in extras about cooking and reading more but who knows what will happen when Bryan returns to work (granted, it’ll be from home, which is amazing, but I know it will be challenging for him to really help out).
