Good morning, blogland! How was your week, and how is quarantine life treating you? ARE WE HAVING FUN YET? What are you doing to fill the time? How many questions can I ask in the opening paragraph of today’s post?!
If this is your first time here, welcome to my tiny nest. Each Friday, I link up with Beth and Lindsay to share weekly gratitude (PS: we started a fun group for bloggers on Facebook–join us here!). It’s a nice reminder that in a world gone mad (I think it’s okay to admit that now, right??) we still have rays of sunshine in our days and things that keep us going. Let’s get started and don’t forget to link up with us below!
The sweetest, most unexpected surprises from my boss, fellow bloggers, and Bryan’s sisters this week (the cutest little gifts for Mila!)
Love for this post <3
Daily walks with Milo and having a chance to see some of our neighbors
The Contented Little Baby Book my friend gifted me at my shower; I actually read it while pumping every day and it’s been so helpful with figuring out sleep/feeding schedules for Mila
The postpartum subscription box my brother and his gf sent to me–I have had two deliveries and each box is filled with the most beautifully curated gifts for a new momma to take care of herself
Using up my frozen strawberries finally to make strawberry lemon bars
Finally getting an Instacart order to go through. Now that I am up very early in the morning, I was able to find a time slot at 4am–delivery won’t come for about two weeks, but this gives me time to edit and make changes to my cart as necessary
Online shopping. Granted, I’ve been trying to take it easy what with the state of the world right now and who knows how secure anything is anymore, BUT I was able to find some killer deals on sneakers and skincare, and right now, it’s all about the little things
The show Unorthodox on Netflix; we only have one more episode left. Also Vanderpump, Family Karma (only saw one ep, but like it so far!), Better Call Saul, etc. At least we have some good TV during this time!
Texts. Calls. Emails.
