Oh hey you guys, and welcome to another installment of Friday gratitude where Lindsay, Beth, and I share a few of our favorite things from the week. It’s a beautiful practice and one that has grown in popularity over the years–we’d love to have you join us by adding to our linky below. Who doesn’t like to make new friends!? Let’s dive in, shall we?
Seeing baby on monitor. It’s crazy to me that insurance only covers a certain amount of ultrasounds because I haven’t had a look at her since 8 weeks (and I’m now 20!) but it was incredible to see her wiggle around and hear her heartbeat. Look at the little nose!!!
A fresh blanket of snow–our first snowstorm of the season
Time with my aunt and uncle from Norway
Getting to meet up with family at Rosa Mexicano in the city–one of my cousins was in town with his wife from California
and it was lovely to see everyone again
A new haircut–’bout damn time
Baby shopping. B has a bigger aversion to shopping than I do but he marched into Buy Buy Baby, found the stroller he was looking for, wheeled it around for two seconds, and then announced he was sold. Seriously, how do men do this?!
Christmas shopping (sorta’). I didn’t buy a thing on Black Friday or Cyber Monday (well, aside from body washes from The Body Shop and laundry detergent and toothpaste from Walgreen’s–DON’T JUDGE ME!!) but I have started making a dent in my Christmas shopping list. How about you?
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel returns tonight and I dunno’ about you, but I’m planning on binging this weekend. It’s the CUTEST show and the woman who plays Mrs. Maisel is incredible
