I was not compensated for this post. I received an Upbra in exchange for this review;
all opinions are entirely my own.
Is there anything worse than bra shopping? I mean, aside from bathing suit, jeans, and shoe shopping? And yes, I realize I’m in the minority where that last one is concerned.
I’ll be honest—I’d probably rather have a root canal than step foot in a shopping mall. I have to return a dress at Garden State Plaza and I’ve been putting it on hold for so long, that I’m not even sure the store will take it back at this point.
I hate malls, I have to be in THE MOOD to go shopping, and I can’t go long stretches without food so I’m basically the worst person to take with you if you need a shopping buddy. Sorry.
That said I love it when I can have a good shopping experience online that removes some of that inconvenience from my life. And I love getting packages in the mail, so it’s an extra bonus when you unwrap a gift you purchased yourself AND it fits.
One of the best tank tops I ever saw had “these are not my eyes” written across the boobs. When you have big boobies like I do, sometimes you get paranoid that people are staring at them. For so many years I wore baggy sweatshirts and oversized tees because I didn’t want the attention, until one day I started showing them off. Not for anyone else, but because I started to like them! This might fall under the TMI category, but I remember the day Bryan discovered I had boobs and how unbelievably shocked he was (I believe his words were “sunken treasure”). Why was I hiding them for so long? Big boobs are fun!
What isn’t fun however, and getting back to my original point, is bra shopping. I recently stumbled across the Upbra after seeing an unbelievably convincing YouTube tutorial (click here if you’d like to watch it but beware of blinding nail polish!). Her boobs transform on camera, you guys.
I mean, let’s allow the photos here to do the talking.
Clearly I’m very proud of myself in the “after” pic.
Also, note that I’m not even doing the hand on hip pose to enhance the girls! Here are some of my favorite things about this bra:
- You can easily adjust “the settings” with interior hooks
- Very comfortable and lightweight
- Perfect for low-cut dresses (and they come with straps so you can do that cool criss-cross thing if that’s what you’re into)
- Incredibly well-made
- Amazing customer service. Initially the bra I was sent didn’t fit correctly, and they sent me another—no questions asked!
I also did a quick tutorial myself on YouTube, but note, I’m very awkward and public speaking has never quite been my thing. So please take it easy on me in the comments! If you do watch, you’ll get a very random Stormtrooper appearance, however, so there is that.
My Pixie Blog readers, you are in luck! Order an Upbra today and get 10% off with coupon code WB-10P-16! I hope you enjoy your boobie-enhancing bra as much as I did and can’t wait to hear your thoughts, my friends!
Nice product. It pleases me greatly to see women take pride in their bodies. Society pressures women to be overly-critical and unhappy with their natural selves. Glad to see you beat that and enjoy your gifts.
Sounds like an awesome bra!
ha, well you know that I do love bra shopping!! That’s when I discover I’m bigger than I thought. So then I want to show them off. I do!
I spent most of my life skinny and waiting for them to grow. It took until.. now.. but it’s like I just got them after all this time.
I hate malls, too! I am going to check the Upbra out! Side note….. I love your hair!
Haha, your face! Love it. Might have to give this one a try… 🙂
